Today’s prompt is:
Show us something to do in your town. Pics are always great.
Well that’s pretty easy, Coeur D’ Alene happens to be a tourist town with a rather fancy resort that boasts an extremely expensive SilverTAG Swiss Shower. This shower as 19 different shower heads, and costs $25 just to use it for 5 minutes in the resort’s Spa!
I can’t find a really good picture of the shower, but that’s one provided on the resort website.
Of course there are tons of other things to do at the resort, and tons of fancy room options. They also offer cruises on the lake. We live about two or three miles, ish? From the resort currently. The city beach and main park are just next to the resort as well, so I tend to avoid the entire area in the summer because it’s always jam packed with tourists. @_@
Not far from town (it’s technically in Athol, which yes does sound like asshole) we have Silverwood Theme Park. It’s not the biggest theme park ever but at least we have one. One of my favorite coasters there is the Corkscrew.
Silverwood, like most theme parks ends up pretty busy, meaning even if you spend from open to close there you have little chance of getting to ride all the rides you want to ride. @_@;
Someday, I hope to be able to just take the kids to Disneyland or something at least more worth the long line waiting!
