It’s that time again! Beauty Box 5 Review time!
This box is one of the many monthly subscription boxes for beauty. But it’s also very inexpensive.
I wish I didn’t get my boxes what feels like so much later in the month than everyone else. It makes my doing YouTube videos feel a little pointless. So this one is updated after the review just because it was done and… why not? 😛
Nicka K – Eye Crayon – Violet $4.49 4/5
I am not 100 in love with the color on me, but I tend to not really go for anything overly colorful on my eyes. >.> Still, I do love the way it goes on and feels. Plus the sound.>.> Maybe I should be trying more colors?
Natural Style By Fufu – Deep Conditioner – $9.99 for 12 oz. 5/5
Like I said in the video I rarely stand around for 5 minutes for one hair product. I like to wash and get out of my showers without wasting a ton of water. I usually only let my conditioner sit about 2 minutes. o.O;; Still, wow. I was happy that I let myself stand around and scrub extra long while Cid hogged the water and cleaned himself super well (he has acne prone skin, so he always takes longer.) I loved the way my hair felt after this, and it’s something I plan to pick up when I have the chance! Though I will likely only use it once a week.
Sally Hansen Toe Spacers – $1.99 – 4.5/5
What can I say? Other than feeling a little awkward and making my pinkie toes a little uncomfortable, these work well. They’re pretty simple, I mean, it’s just toe spaces! Still they really did make it easier for me to paint my nails.
My Beauty Spot Nail Polish – Set of 6 at 0.5 fl.oz each for $24.99 – 3/5
Really, I didn’t like this color. I put it on my toes and didn’t like it at all. The first coat dried quickly, but the second didn’t. The heck? I don’t love it, so I wouldn’t really buy these again.
Carlilse Chrisley 3-in-1 eye brightener – 0.5oz $40 – 4.5/5
I like it, but the price… hmmm… Maybe that’s just me? It worked somewhat, but I’ve been sick so that might be why it wasn’t as super effective? I will give it more of a shot once I am feeling all better.
Over all, not bad. I do wish we could exclude colors that we hate. >.> No more gold/yellow nail polish please???
