So before I got the cats some freeze dried rabbit to try and they liked it, they also had freeze-dried chicken treats that they absolutely loved. In the end I thought they’d surely enjoy this cat food topper that is freeze dried rabbit.
They do, kind of? In the end they didn’t really like it as much as they like their own dry food, and seemed annoyed that I put this on top. It has ended up being used as a little treat instead of a dry cat food topper, but I guess for our cats this isn’t something they’d want on a more permanent basis like the dry chicken pieces they they absolutely fell in love with.
Instinct by Nature’s Variety does offer these Raw Boost Mixers in Rabbit or Chicken recipe as you can see in the picture above. They’re okay, better at treats for my picky cats than as a dry food topper. Though maybe they’d work better a wet food topper? Maybe the cats don’t cat it the way I don’t get it? Why something even more dried on already dry food?
In the end it’s okay, like I said they work great as a small cat treat instead of on their dry food, so I found a work around.
