Today I get to review for you all the “Get Famous: The Most Amazing Mom Bloggers Resource On The Planet” book! This book launched today, but I was lucky to get an advance copy to review. This book was written by Lisa Cash Hanson, the woman behind the blog Mompreneur Mogul! It’s good to finally see a blogging resource that wasn’t written by a male “guru”. This resource comes from a mom blogger like us who understands exactly what it’s like to hold the baby in one hand and your keyboard in the other. Reading this book feels like you’re sitting there talking to a friend. Lisa is charming, funny, and really brings a giant personal touch to the information she’s provided in the book.

Not long into the pages of the book, you’re already given great advice. Be patient, and don’t get discouraged. Which is a note she repeats more than once. Sure, my blog is new, but I’m already at 3700 Facebook fans after only three months, actually I haven’t even HIT that three month mark. 😉 If I can do it, then you can do it. Another note is to be you. Yes, you, no matter what.
That’s pretty good advice right there. I’m not the coolest chick in the universe, and my blog has a fair bit of stuff all over the place. I even go so far as to be funky enough to share random crazy Japanese music videos. Which probably has some people going O.O and clicking away from the page, or maybe not. Who knows.
Alright! Goodness I can ramble can’t I?
This book is full of information that can help you get your blog off the ground, and out there for the world to see. You may not get famous right away, but I have no doubt that if you put the information contained in this book to work for you, you can get famous as the book explains.
It’s taking me a bit of time to get through every part of the process. Though I have read through the book twice, I’ve just been busy with kids and school (mid-terms and working on final projects) to fully put everything super quick into play for myself. 😉 Still, I am working on it, and encourage you to do so as well!
