I usually have my phone around, and that means I’m snapping pictures of the kids or the cats that I can’t get in print as quickly as I’d like. I don’t have a little camera that prints out photos for me, so I am excited that there’s KiiPix by Tomy!
It’s an adorable little printer picture that doesn’t require cords, batteries or wifi. I can just print right from my phone using Instax film!
The KiiPix itself is only $39.99 and comes in Sky Blue (what I got), Jet Black, and Cherry Blossom. It folds up easily to put in your bag or stay out of the way at home, and I was rather surprised at the results.
After I read the instructions fully.. I forgot that I keep my phone in “night mode” so I lessen my exposure to the blue light and keep the brightness kind of low. I accidentally didn’t really that you need to have your phone at the highest brightness and not on night mode. So my first picture was not great, I quickly realized my mistake though!
All you need to do it open the KiiPix
Place your phone on top
Push the button and turn the knob to watch it print your photo. It’s so neat! Plus it has a little reflective mirror on it so you can watch as you’re lining up your phone, to make sure your picture is right in the frame as you’d like it.
These two pictures came off of my phone! They printed in pretty similar quality to what you’d get if you used a little Instax camera. Kat actually has an Instax camera but I don’t. I do carry my phone around enough though but not being able to print cute little pictures was a little of a bummer.
I love that I can print out my favorite pictures from my phone and decorate my wall with them. I know there are all sorts of fun things I can do with these mini pictures, and I can’t wait to do that.
I also can’t wait to get some more film that use cute borders and things like I’ve seen on Amazon! I’m going to have so many tiny pictures that I’ve just had trapped in my phone for the last 3 years!
If you’re looking for a cute way to get pictures off your phone, and really like the look of the mini film pics, then I highly recommend KiiPix!
